You're Jake. An old man that has been unfortunate enough to be living a very cold winter without a place to stay.

Install instructions

If there's anything wrong with the WebGL build just download and extract the executable one. This was my first time programming a game and I'm an audio engineer so I mostly had no clue what I was doing.

Pretty cool setting, music and sound design! I feel the game is a little too hard without the map available at all times, but great work for 3 days! A minor inconvenience: when scrolling down the page with the game open, the sound repeats on a ~0.5s loop and I could hear some pop and cracks during gameplay.

The pops and cracks should be the fireplaces. Thanks!

Ah! We also had some problems wih the fireplace sound, I think it's a bit too loud.

(for ours we used the plastic wrapper of crackers, so who am I to judge)

Yea I had soem problems with the sound implementation, too late to fix now. ;p

Really nice game, I love the look and the concept is quite interesting.

I think that maybe the time before freezing is a little small so it makes it a little too difficult, and it could be nice if once we look at the map we can access it from inventory or something but I still think it's a great game and it's awesome how much you did in only three days :D

Thank you so much!

Very impressive game for such a short period! I love the pixel art. I can't say I exactly understand the mechanic of the lights blaring and the game resetting though. It felt unavoidable and confusing to me.

I believe it's because you get too far away for the fire and freeze
